Qadriya Rahimi, the 25-year-old daughter of Shah Reza Rahimi, secretly kept her father’s bloodstained hat out of her mother’s sight and still has it. She says: “Part of my father’s hat was stained with blood at the time he was martyred, and the middle of it was torn. But now the blood has faded, and it’s hard to tell that this part was once bloodstained.” Although she tried with all her strength to tell the story of the hat, she was only able to say these two sentences. Then emotion tightened her throat so much that her voice fell silent.
